Align West Homes delivered beyond our expectation!
When we decided to build a new home on a rural acreage 65 km from Kelowna, at the start of winter, we knew we were in for a challenge. The team at Align West proved to be a valuable asset, on our side.
Align West has excellent relationships with the trades which was very evident when winter conditions could have easily delayed the build. Quality workmanship was completed on schedule; obstacles were overcome, and pricing remained very competitive.
Choosing to build a new home can be very stressful. Dave Pfuetzner’s professionalism and reputation in the community certainly paid dividends and alleviated any concerns we had. We are so happy that we chose Align West as our builder.

CUSTOM HOME BUILD
Working with David and the Align West team made the challenging experience of building a new home in an environment of supply chain issues, extremely busy sub-contractors and rapidly rising prices, a positive experience. We appreciated the way Align West has dealt with these issues, fairly, and are happy with the quality and design of our new home. One issue that arose during construction was the inability to access the planned shiplap boarding to accent the gas fireplace in the living room. David, recommended using natural stone instead and this has turned out to be a real focal point of our home, as you can see in the picture.
I am putzing around my beautiful home, now playing up in my studio and I just need to thank you for this beautiful home. It is so amazing and I love it so so much. It is home already. You made our dreams come true. I know it wasnt easy building up here and especially this build with some of the challenges that cropped up but I’m so glad you did. You were so great to work with and I honestly don’t believe it would have gone so well with someone else. Thank you.
From the moment we met Dave Pfuetzner, we knew that Align West Homes was the builder for us. As we were completing the design of our house, Dave made practical suggestions on how to make construction more cost effective while retaining a high level of energy efficiency. Dave, our construction manager, support staff, and the subtrades were a pleasure to work with. While there are always challenges and stressful days with building a new home, they all worked hard to lead us through the process and to make it an enjoyable experience.
Held on Friday October 4, 2024; Gun Shy and guest musical performers, entertained attendees in support of BC Children’s Hospital, successfully raising $55,000 in support of the Social Work’s Transportation Fund. This fund helps families traveling to the Lower Mainland to attend the hospital with related transportation expenses.

Align West Homes both corporately and personally has supported the efforts of Hope for the Nations working alongside the church Hogar d’Amor in Colima since 2010. We have contributed our time and skills to building a new children’s home that was part of the Las Golondrinas Project started by Greg and Carmen Bird. We are happy, proud and extremely humbled to have seen the many hours of volunteer work and the many contributions to help fund the project to completion with wonderful children filling the rooms, laughing and smiling and of course always giving big hugs.
Align West Homes continues to support and seek new opportunities in the area of building children’s homes in Colima and the surrounding areas along with many local charities such as “Ride to Reach” which raises money for various local causes including one that is very close to us JDRF. We are committed to see our business of building homes for families in BC, help fund many local and international charities. We are excited to BUILD FOR GOOD and will welcome anyone who wants to partner with us on this journey.
